The Importance of Safety
Agency Listing
There are many electrical safety testers on the market that
can test to safety agency specifications but many of these
testers are not actually listed by a safety agency. As the
industry leader, we have made the commitment to obtain actual
safety agency listing on our products.
Our standard lines of electrical safety compliance testing
instruments carry the TÜV-GS safety agency listing while
our OMNIA®, HypotMAX™, HypotULTRA® III, Hypot® III, and HYAMP® III families are
also UL Listed. These instruments have passed all the safety
test requirements as called out in IEC 1010, EN 61010 and
UL 61010B-1. This makes these instruments the first electrical
safety testers to be certified by both of these agencies.
These product lines are the only electrical safety testers
in the industry to carry both listing marks.
AR's listed electrical safety testers provide assurance to manufacturers
that their tester is safe to use. This is a statement that
the competition simply cannot make. Please take a few moments
to read our white paper The Importance of Safety Agency
Listing to see first hand the benefits a safety agency
listing provides. After all it makes sense that the instrument
used to perform safety tests should be as safe as the product
it is testing.
