The importance of Safety Agency Listing
There are many electrical safety testers on the market that can test to safety agency specifications but many of these testers are not actually listed by a safety agency. As the industry leader, we have made the commitment to obtain NRTL safety agency listing on all our latest products.
When we began this program many years ago it was a significant financial and engineering commitment, but one we believed our customers would value and have come to expect from the industry leader. Today our OMNIA®, HypotULTRA® III, HypotMAX®, Hypot® III, and HYAMP® III families of Electrical Safety Testers have all obtained NRTL safety agency listings. These products carry the C-UL-US safety agency listing mark as well as the TÜV Rheinland mark for compliance to EN 61010-1 and EN 61010-31. We also are the only manufacturer of electrical safety testers that offers the TÜV listing mark on our standard line of products. With these safety agency listings AR provides compliance to worldwide standards including U.S., Canadian, European and Asian safety standards.
Furthermore, our listed electrical safety testers provide assurance to manufacturers that their tester is safe to use. This is a statement that the competition simply cannot make. Please take a few moments to read our white paper The Importance of Safety Agency Listing to see first hand the benefits a safety agency listing provides. After all it makes sense that the instrument used to perform safety tests should be as safe as the product it is testing.
