Our MedTEST system provides advanced test functionality while increasing efficiency to medical device manufacturers. It allows medical device manufacturers to easily test to common medical electrical safety specifications such as UL206-1, UL60601-1, IEC601-1, IEC60601-1, EN60601-1 and more!
MedTEST performs hipot, ground bond and line leakage tests together in one comprehensive system. It can also perform all B, BF, and CF Type applied part testing required for medical device manufacturers. The base configuration of the system includes the SC6540 master scanner, the SC6540 slave scanner, the LINECHEK II model 620L, the OMNIA 8104, the AC1000 and our Autoware software. The system does require one PC with at least 3 communication ports. It is a highly cost-effective system priced well below comparable systems.

OMNIA® model 8106 provides AC Hipot, DC Hipot, Insulation Resistance, Ground Bond/Continuity, Functional Run and Line Leakage tests in a single DUT connection. OMNIA offers a full compliment of automation interfaces including Ethernet, RS-232, IEEE-488 (GPIB) and more. The 8106 can be used as a bench top instrument or as a PC controlled system used in tandem with our Autoware® control software and is well suited for Medical testing applications that require multiple electrical safety tests including Line Leakage tests. The 8106 will perform all 8 Line Leakage tests as called out by a variety of agency specifications and incorporates 7 different measuring device configurations to simulate the human body impedance models for a variety of specifications. Leakage measurements can be either, True RMS or PEAK as required by the IEC 60990 for measuring touch currents. The 8106 can also perform patient lead tests with an optional scanning matrix. The ability to perform these tests in a single instrument through one DUT connection will increase productivity and efficiency allowing manufacturers to save time and money. It features an enhanced graphic LCD and simplified user-interface that makes testing safer, easier and more reliable than ever before.
