SmartGFI®
- The patented SmartGFI® is a high speed shut down circuit that provides maximum operator protection. It the circuit detects excessive leakage to ground it shuts down the high voltage in less than 1 millisecond. SmartGFI® is automatically activated if the DUT is not grounded. CAL-ALERT®
- The patented CAL-ALERT feature automatically alerts the user when the instrument is due for re-calibration. This eliminates the need for manual tracking of calibration dates.

VERI-CHEK®
- The patented VERI-CHEK feature is a menu driven process by which the instrument’s failure detectors are proven to be functioning properly, “verifying” the functionality of the electrical safety tester and connected accessories.

Prompt & Hold
- The patented Prompt & Hold feature was developed for applications where steps or procedures must be performed as part of the test cycle. The prompt function is a user-configurable message that can be set up to display during individual steps of the test cycle. With the ability to add prompt instructions to the test cycle the user is able to eliminate the need for written instructions.

– The patented CHARGE-LO circuit sets a minimum charging current which is based on the DC test voltage, the rate of rise, and the capacitance of the DUT. This circuit confirms that the DUT is connected when performing a test. This feature is only used in DC Hipot Test mode.

– The patented RAMP-HI feature allows you to set a high limit charging current during the ramp function which is higher than the high limit setting which would be chosen for the dwell cycle. This allows you to charge the DUT as rapidly as possible without causing false failures. This feature is only used in DC Hipot Test mode.

Enhanced Graphic LCD
– The enhanced graphic LCD provides the operator with complete test setup and results in an easy-to-use interface which eliminates the need to decipher abbreviations. The graphic LCD makes testing safer, easier and more reliable than ever before.

Milliohm Offset
– The Milliohm offset function allows the use of longer test leads and test fixtures without compromising test results in the Ground Bond Test mode.

Four-wire measurement
– The four-wire measurement (Kelvin Method) eliminates test lead resistance when using standard test leads. This makes for more effective Ground Bond testing.

Digitally Controlled Arc Detection
– The Arc Detection Feature allows the operator to select whether low-level arcs should be detected and provides the operator with the ability to digitally select and program multiple sensitivity levels.

Ethernet Communication Card
– The Ethernet Communication card allows customers to remotely set up and execute tests and retrieve data from a PC with a network connection. The card also allows for barcode scanning and provides an active RS-232 serial port.

Data Storage Communication Card
– The Data Storage card is an interface option that provides an internal memory, allows for data collection and includes bar code scanning capability. The card also includes a serial interface that can be configured fro RS-232 or RS-485 communication. It comes complete with a 256 MB memory stick for downloading internal data.
